Libya, where NATO loses its way

Libya, where NATO loses its way

31.07.2011

It is by now patently obvious that in Libya, NATO has violated every rule in the book, has violated international law, has broken the Geneva Conventions, has breached diplomatic conventions, has insulted the United Nations Organization and fundamentally, has even violated its own charter. Why? In three letters, oil.

NATO is the most despicable type of syphilitic whore that ever appeared on the international stage, a mutation of the worst kind which sprang out of the defensive agreement among nations quaking in their boots at the military supremacy of the Soviet Union, a mutation which turned what was supposed to be a defensive alliance into a supra-national monster. NATO is not a defensive military alliance, it is not only offensive in nature but is also fundamentally criminal in character.

To begin with, we have to disassociate NATO from politics, if we want to give an iota of credibility to the politicians that people elect in NATO member states. If we do not disassociate NATO from the political class in countries whose foreign policy NATO controls, the harder you look, the more sinister it gets.

For a start, NATO was supposed to be a defensive military alliance protecting its member states from attack from the Soviet Union. Those of us on the other side of the curtain always had a good laugh at this because not only were the military forces of the Soviet Union essentially defensive in nature but also, in each and every war games exercise, the USSR thrashed the crap out of NATO, as indeed the Russian Federation would today. The aperitif was the Georgia campaign in 2008. Who started it and who ran screaming with its tail between its legs? Whose military advisors were on the ground, whose mercenaries came back home in body bags?

When the countries composing the USSR decided to go their separate ways, NATO lied and said it would not encroach to the East if the Warsaw Pact was dissolved. Several times. The Warsaw Pact was dissolved and what did NATO do? It encroached to the East. The first round of lies belongs to NATO.

NATO, we saw then, was obviously not a defensive organization, which was already more than apparent given the millions of dollars it spent in terrorist operations and in supporting terrorist factions and fascist dictatorships around the world. So since 1990 we have seen more and more where NATO was going and what NATO is. It morphed into the armed whore of the lobbies which control the capitalist system across the globe: the banking lobby, the weapons lobby, the drugs lobby, the energy lobby.

Within a decade of the voluntary dissolution of the USSR (catered for in its Constitution) and the ensuing dissolution of the Warsaw Pact (in good will), NATO had already started the foundation of the European base of the international heroin trade: Kosovo. Between 80 and 90 per cent of the European heroin trade comes through Kosovo, from Turkey, from Afghanistan. The common link in all these theatres of activity is - you got it - NATO!

In Afghanistan, the production of heroin has risen by forty (40) times, since NATO started fighting the forces it created back in the 1980s (Mujaheddin) to fight the socially progressive government, destroying the society which guaranteed children's rights, women's rights and the freedoms people do not have today.

So we see now where NATO stands: alongside terrorists (the KLA was a terrorist organization, the Mujaheddin became the Taleban) and overseeing the heroin trade which by the way is worth billions of dollars a year.

It does not matter to NATO how many families it destroys in the process. It never did. Through the manipulation of fear (creating successive "thems" to justify the "us") NATO managed to control public opinion and maintain itself on the political agenda of its member states, without ever having been elected yet controlling their foreign policy (how Constitutional is that?).

Until Iraq, NATO managed to mastermind a certain image of credibility for those who bought the Soviet Threat bullshit story. After Iraq, it didn't. The mass murder of Iraqi civilians, the torture, the illegal detention of persons, rape, disrespect for human life, the deployment of military hardware against civilian structures... you name it, NATO did it.

And now, Libya. It was patently obvious from the start that this was yet another NATO operation, this time not for drugs but for oil and much more: Muammar al-Qathafi's stance on forging African unity through the African Union so that African nations could stand on their own feet and not be systematically raped by ex- and neo-colonialist powers meant that the banking lobby missed out, the energy lobby missed out, the weapons lobby missed out.

The name of the game is to destroy the African Union and substitute it with AFRICOM. The many humanitarian projects and programmes sponsored and financed by Muammar al-Qathafi do not matter to NATO because NATO is not interested in the welfare of Africans, it simply wants to control Africa's resources.

And the sinister way in which NATO implements policy makes it the most hated organization on the planet. And here we see whether the politicians of the NATO member states have anything to say to save their necks. Whether or not they will ever answer these questions (as yet sent but not replied to) is a measure of their arrogance and an indicator as to who not to elect next time around.

Under which international laws was the Libyan water pipeline a target?

Under which laws was it legitimate to target a factory supplying water pipes to repair the system?

Under which laws was it legitimate to target a house with precision weaponry - and we are speaking of laser technology and telecommunications systems responding from ten kilometres in the sky, so it was no accident - in which Muammar al-Qathafi was outside feeding the animals and his son and three grandchildren were murdered?

Under which laws is it legitimate to support and arm terrorists in an internal conflict?

Under which laws is it permitted to strafe hospitals?

Under which laws is it allowed to strike civilian structures such as the electricity grid?

Under NATO's laws, yes. Because NATO does not answer to any international legal organism, indeed it has already stated there is no organism controlling its actions. Under the laws of the member states of NATO, no. And under international law, no.

But then again NATO does not operate under international law. It is a criminal organization run by criminals. So we repeat the question: where do the politicians come into this? If they support NATO, they are criminals. If not, then why are they members?

In which case ladies and gentlemen, in your wonderful western democracies, you have two alternatives: vote for your political representatives who support NATO and become guilty by association or else vet who is running for office by asking them their opinion on foreign policy and by doing the right thing and setting the appropriate legal measures into force punishing those involved in this criminal act of murder and holding them responsible for their crimes.

Do you support the terrorists in Libya? Yes? Then you are supporting child murderers and so...no vote. No action = guilt by association, meaning the citizens of these NATO states sit in silence while their armed forces commit acts of murder daily, in support of thousands of armed terrorists. Is THAT what your countries stand for? Apparently, it is.

Serbia and the New World Order

Serbia and the New World Order

31.07.2011

There is no doubt that in the massive wave of popular outrage against NATO's support for terrorists in Libya, a spontaneous international movement of decent people from all walks of life from the four corners of the Earth, the people of Serbia have opened their hearts speaking out in the name of justice. It is time for us to do the same for Serbia.

Twelve years ago I had the honour to speak out in the name of justice against the murderous terrorists of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA)/Ushtria Çlirimtare e Kosoves (UÇK in Albanian). It is time for us to do the same for Serbia, because while NATO commits its outrage in Libya, slaughtering children, precision-bombing homes, targeting civilian structures with military hardware, the Serbian people are being sold out by their own politicians.

The recent decision by the "Kosovo authorities" brought matters to the fore. (Kosovo is an illegal state because under international law, it is part of Serbia - how would the countries that recognised it like it if the heart of their country was torn out and given to a neighbour?) The "Kosovo authorities" in Pristina, the capital of this Serbian province, decided not to import any more Serbian products.

The Serbs took to the streets in protest, and while the NATO forces under KFOR either looked on or went away, the Albanian "Prime Minister" of Kosovo (he may as well call himself King of Saturn, the legitimacy is the same), Hashim Thaçi, sent the ROSU special police units, which began opening fire on unarmed Serbian civilians (1).

What is more ominous is the declaration of the by now hated Serbian President, Boris Tadic, who since 2004 has done absolutely nothing for his people except sell their interests down the river and bow to the demands of large Western corporations, selling their jobs and souls and futures to those whose only desire in life is to destroy Serbia and break the spirit of its brave people. In an interview with the German daily newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine, he allegedly stated that the Serbian idea of creating a Greater Albania is considered dangerous but the Serbian people could live with that if there was an agreed solution.

Added to this was his demonstration of pig-faced arrogance: The more they ( people ) hate me, I'm more sure that I'm doing the better job. Now his latest contribution is that he is trying to destroy the arms factory in Kragujevac.

How can a President of Serbia acquiesce to one of the greatest outrages in modern history, namely the violation of every fibre of international law creating a mafia state (which controls 80 to 90 per cent of the European drugs trade) in the heart of the Balkans, namely the illegal state of Kosovo, the soul of the Serbian nation?

The answer to that question is "easily", because since Milosevic was illegally kidnapped and illegally detained at The Hague, it appears that the general guidelines for Serbian politicians is the more corrupt and the worse for the people and the future of the country, the better it is.

There are obvious reasons for this, since western corporations are already starting to eye up the fertile plains of Vojvodina, which Monsanto would no doubt love to use as a base to launch a multi-million dollar GM crop business right in the heart of Europe. This would involve, of course, the eventual separation of Vojvodina as well, and there are rumours that Hungary, Germany and who else? the UK and USA are already active in this process.

Therefore the attempts by Tadic to control and muzzle Serbia's media make sense for a person who is beginning to realise how hated he is. What do his paymasters say about this, those who spend half a century bleating about Freedom of Expression? Nothing, of course. What do you expect from leaders of countries that drop precision bombs on family homes in Libya?

The recent sacking of the chief editor of Alo magazine was part of this process - he was the only one to have the guts to criticise Tadic. And President Tadic himself, after his declarations about climbing into bed with a Greater Albania, might have something to say about the allegations that his bedfriend Hashim Thaçi is involved in the trafficking of human organs, ripped out of Serbs in Kosovo, that "nation" supported by NATO.

This, it is alleged, along with the drugs trade masterminded all along the supply route from Afghanistan (NATO) through Turkey (NATO) to Kosovo (NATO) is part of the pay-back to the members of the US Congress who sponsored the "independence" of Kosovo - being the only way the Kosovar Albanians can garner enough money to pay back their puppet-masters what they owe (after all, the "independence" comes at a price - the USA does nothing without self.-interest).

Tadic might also ask his bedfellow Thaçi what part he and his friend and advisor Xhavit Haliti had in the murder of the journalist Ali Uka in Tirana.

As the heroic Serbian people stand beside the heroic people of Libya in defending the Jamahiriya of the man who has done more for Africa and his people than anyone else, it is time for this wave of sympathy to be extended and to embrace them also. I stood with the people of Serbia 12 years ago denouncing the barbaric and murderous NATO attack, I stand with the Serbian people now as evil foreign forces strive to dismember their wonderful country.

Kosovo Bomb Exploding Serbia's South

Kosovo Bomb Exploding Serbia's South

28.07.2011 | 19:49

The situation in Kosovo after the clashes between Serbs and Albanians remains tense. The situation became aggravated on July 25, when Kosovo Albanian authorities have tried to establish full control over the entry and exit points in Yarin and Brnyak on the administrative border with Serbia. Many Serbs interpreted this as an attempt to occupy the northern part of the region inhabited mainly by Serbs, with its government, supported by Belgrade.

Pristina sent riot police in the area that had to fight with the local Serbs. In two days of armed clashes more than ten people were injured. The decision to send Special Forces was taken by Kosovo Prime Minister Hashim Thaci.

It is worth mentioning that the responsibility for the control of the check points on the Serbian border lies on the European Union Mission in the rule of law and order (EULEX). Brnyak was seized by the Albanians because the representatives of the EU offered no resistance, while Serbs managed to defend Yarin. They managed to block the track to this checkpoint with cars and construction equipment.

It was reported that German General Erhard Bühler, the commander of the international KFOR, participated in resolving the situation. However, in practice it had no effect, because his men were in no hurry to disperse the Albanians who have violated the agreement on the control of the checkpoint at the administrative border with Serbia. According to Borislav Stefanovic, head of the Serbian delegation at the talks with Pristina, he has reached an agreement with Erhard Bühler that the Albanian Special Forces would be taken to Pristina, and then Serbs will take down the barricades. Only then the EULEX staff and police of Serbian nationality would return to the checkpoint in Brnyak.

However, the Albanians have acted differently. They pretended to leave Brnyak, but later returned. As a result, the clashes between Albanians and Serbs resumed. Shortly before this, in the evening of July 26, Thaci made very different statements and conducted himself with great assurance. One gets the impression that his actions were originally agreed upon with the EU. According to him, the actions of the police in northern Kosovo should not be interpreted as a provocation. "The goal is to ensure law and order throughout Kosovo," said Thaci. "We cannot forever endure that our sovereignty is violated, and a part of our country is used for smuggling." In turn, president of Kosovo Atifete Yahyaga made a statement that the control over the entire country is a sovereign and legitimate right of any state. This right, in his opinion, was violated by Serbia who did not let the people on both sides communicate and exchange goods. Thus, the president placed the responsibility for the aggravation on the Serbs, and warned that Belgrade's behavior may affect his desire to join the EU. He also sharply criticized the statements of some Serbian politicians about the need to withdraw the Albanian Special Forces from the north.

In his claims Atifete Yahyaga referred to the aggravation that occurred on July 20, when the Kosovo government banned the import of goods from Serbia, explaining the decision by the fact that Belgrade does not recognize Kosovo's customs and prevents the import of the Kosovo goods to Serbia. The Serbian side did not specify the goods in question. However, many Serbs believe that Kosovars are unhappy with the fact that Belgrade is struggling with a flourishing drug trade in Kosovo. In addition, there is evidence that the Kosovars transported weapons to their fellow-Albanians on the territory of Serbia.

Note that the current operation of the Kosovo Albanians was the first attempt to establish a complete control of Pristina since the proclamation of Kosovo's independence in 2008, which was a flagrant violation of all previous agreements between the Serbs, Kosovars and the West. In this situation, the international forces of KFOR have shown their utter helplessness. However, the most striking thing was not the behavior of the Albanians and representatives of the EU and KFOR, as the West continues its previous policy of eliminating Serbia as a state, but the reaction of the Serbian leadership to these events. President Tadic said that Belgrade "would not wage a war" in response to the Kosovo campaign to capture the Special Forces checkpoint at the administrative border of Serbia and Kosovo, and would seek to resolve the conflict exclusively through diplomatic means. Tadic urged everyone to remain calm and not to react to any provocations. He urged the citizens of Serbian and Albanian nationality to maintain peace and encouraged the representatives of Pristina not to make any risky steps. He also noted that the representatives of some political forces consider it necessary to engage in new wars, but the majority of the citizens of Serbia do not support such a policy. On the contrary, it is necessary to continue to engage in a dialogue and promote peace. He added that fight for peace is the most difficult one, as it is much easier to plunge into a war and violence.

In his comments to "Pravda.ru" President of the Academy of Geopolitical Issues Leonid Ivashov said:

"These events should have been expected. The policy of endless self-abasement and concessions allowed Kosovo extremists, entrenched in the leadership of Kosovo, to squeeze the Serbs from the place sacred for them. I would note that Tadic is doing everything to get into the EU. He gave Hadzic and Mladic, the heroes of the Serbian people, to the slaughter. But this is not sufficient to join the EU, as the West has already told Tadic. To do this he has to completely humiliate and degrade the entire Serbian people: Belgrade must recognize the independence of the sacred to the Serbs Kosovo and Metohija. Tadic, apparently, is ready for to do it and sell the remains of the national pride in order to make the Serbs the EU's migrant workers. As for the behavior of the West and the Albanians in this story, this proves once again the fact that now it is all about brute force. In the end Serbia may seize its existence. "

Note that these fears are not unfounded. The segregation of Kosovo did not stop all of the Serbs' problems. On the contrary, each year the negative trends in terms of separatism only increase. In this case it is not only Sandžak, but also several other southern Serbia areas inhabited by Muslims and Albanians, and Vojvodina where the Hungarian nationalists are raising their heads.

The recent developments in Kosovo show once again that the West is indulging the extremists and motivating them to greater action against Belgrade. The only question is when these bombs explode.

CAIRO – Why Serbia in particular?

Why Serbia in particular?

By Mohssen Arishie – The Egyptian gazette
Sunday, July 31, 2011 12:59:28 PM

CAIRO – Members of the April 6th Movement have confessed to receiving training in Serbia and this should raise many questions. This Serbian tour opened divisions in the movement and led several of its pioneers to break away in October 2010.

In its 69th statement, the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces bluntly accused the political movement of trying to drive a wedge between ordinary Egyptian citizens and the Army.

The SCAF's statement also accused the movement of receiving money from overseas and training there.

The Army's accusations came after young demonstrators left Tahrir Square and marched to el-Abbasiya, northeast of central Cairo, to demonstrate outside the military headquarters.

They chanted slogans, which insulted the Egyptian Army and cast doubts on its post-Mubarak loyalties. They went too far when they chanted slogans against Field Marshal Mohamed Hussein Tantawi and members of the SCAF.

Whether it was deliberately planned or not, this anti-Army demonstration coincided with the nation's celebrating the Egyptian Revolution of July 23rd 1952, which was sparked by the Army.

There have been allegations that the movement's members received 'military' training, to help them overpower riot police during the mass demonstrations.

Partially confessing to these accusations, the movement's spokesman, Mohamed Adel, said that he had travelled to Serbia and received training in 'non-violence', the manipulation of the masses and how to mobilise and control them

The instructors in the Serbia-based training camps did a good job. The movement's spokesman proudly attributed their success in leading the mass demonstrations that ousted Mubarak to the instructions and advice they received in Serbia.

Adel did not explain how long they had spent in Serbia before graduating and returning home to Egypt to put their 'theoretical studies' into practice in Tahrir Square and other public places across the country. The movement's spokesman strongly denied that they were traitors or agents paid to cause instability in their country.

One of the movement's secessionists said that he had declined the invitation to travel to Serbia for training there.

Tareq el-Kholi, the coordinator-general of the 6th of April Movement's Democratic Movement (a breakaway movement from the 6th April Movement), also denounced his former colleagues for allowing foreign agencies to grease their palms with US dollars and euros as a reward for their participation in the Serb-based training camp.

Serbia has a long way to go before it will be given the ticket to join the European club of democracy-exporting countries. Its hands are stained with the blood of tens of thousands of innocent Muslim women, children and young men in Serbia-controlled areas.

Serbia has desperately been trying to remove these big, indelible stains from its history by collaborating with the massive hunt for the perpetrators of this ethnic cleansing of Muslim minorities in the old Yugoslavia in the 1990s.

This horrendous genocide has been described as the most brutal since the First World War. Dozens of the Serb leaders of these large-scale massacres went into hiding to avoid the arrest warrants issued by the International Criminal Court in The Hague.

The suspects included late Serb President Slobodan Milosevich, who died on March 11 in his prison cell in The Hague. He was charged by the International Criminal Court with Bosnian genocide when he led Bosnian Serb forces in Srebrenica from 1992 to 1995 to massacre Muslims under his army's control.

Milosevich was arrested by Yugoslav federal authorities on Saturday, 31 March 2001 and was sent to The Hague.

Charges levelled against Milosevich and his army commanders included the killing of more than 8,000 Bosnian Muslims, as well as the mass expulsion of another 25,000 or 30,000 Bosnian Muslims, in and around the town of Srebrenica in Bosnia and Herzegovina, committed by units of the Army of Republika Srpska (VRS) under the command of General Ratko Mladiv.

The ethnic cleansing throughout areas controlled by the Bosnian Serb Army targeted Bosnian Muslims and Bosnian Croats.

It included unlawful confinement, murder, rape, sexual assault, torture, beating, robbery and inhumane treatment of civilians; the targeting of political leaders, intellectuals and professionals; the unlawful deportation and transfer of civilians; the unlawful shelling of civilians; the unlawful appropriation and plunder of real and personal property; the destruction of homes and businesses; and the destruction of places of worship.

How can a country, whose majority are connected, religiously, to the war victims in areas that used to be controlled by Serbian Army, give lessons about the peaceful transfer of power?

We do not know whether Serb war veterans led the training classes for these young Egyptians. The Serbians should revive at home the nightmarish memory of the young Muslim men, who travelled to Afghanistan to fight the old Soviet Army in this Muslim country.

Returning to Egypt after learning the art of war, these young people described themselves as the Mujahidin (Holy Warriors) and formed militant groups, responsible for terrorist attacks in Egypt in the 1980s and the 1990s.

The comparison here should ignite fears that, after the war of terror launched by Muslim radicals in September 2001, the world community, including Egypt, could witness a war of terror launched, this time, by Christian radicals.

The random killing of young people by an ultra-Christian extremist in Norway should substantiate these fears.

Kosovo Serbs Defy NATO, Maintain Two Barricades

Kosovo Serbs defy NATO, leave road barricades

Serbs in restive northern Kosovo on Friday maintained their barricades of two key roads in defiance of an order to call off their protest against NATO's Kosovo peace-keeping mission KFOR and European Union law enforcement agency EULEX.

The Serbs, who are accusing the two missions of siding with the Albanian majority and government in Kosovo, have parked tractors, trucks, logs and tyres in the middle of the roads.

The barricades were set up after violence erupted in the area earlier this week, claiming the life of a policeman, in an escalation of a trade war between Serbia and its former province.

The Kosovo government moved to take over the border checkpoints in the mostly Serb north in order to enforce a trade embargo on Serbian goods. Serbs reacted by torching one of the crossings.

On Thursday KFOR took control of border crossings and declared the area a restricted military zone. KFOR ordered Serbs to dismantle the barricades, with KFOR commander Erhard Buehler warning that violence in the zone would be met with deadly force.

Talks aimed at defusing the situation have failed. Buehler is due to meet Serbian officials on Friday.

Kosovo declared independence in 2008 without the approval of Serbia. The Kosovar government has failed to assert its control in the north, where Serbs are in the majority.

3 Serbs wounded in clashes near Zubin Potok in Kosovo

Three Serbs have been wounded in clashes in the village of Zubin Potok in the north of Kosovo, Radio KIM that broadcasts in Kosovo and Metohija reports. At about 4:00 p.m. local time, the sounds of gunfire were heard near the village of Varage. At least one Kosovo policeman was reportedly wounded. Controversial reports are coming from Kosovo.

The Tanjug News Agency quotes Milena Cvetkovic, the head doctor of a hospital at Kosovska Mitrovica, as saying that no new patients have been admitted since Tuesday morning. At the same time, Serbia's Minister for Kosovo and Metohija Goran Bogdanovic has confirmed that the clashes did take place and that there are casualties among Serbs.

The Serbian television says that the Jarine border crossing in Kosovo has been shut. Reports about clashes near Zubin Potok have prompted local Serbs to seal off the road to the Brnjak border checkpoint. Earlier, Kosovo special task police made a failed attempt to storm the checkpoint, Mr. Boganovic said.

Kosovo on verge of conflict

Three Serbs were wounded in clashes with riot police in Kosovo near the village of Zubin Potok. According to the local radio station K.I.M. the situation in northern Kosovo escalated on Monday evening, when Kosovo Prime Minister Hashim Thaci ordered the police to establish control over two checkpoints along the dividing line in central Serbia.

Normally the responsibility for these checkpoints is handled by the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo, EULEX.

One checkpoint was seized but later abandoned by Kosovo police commandos. The path to another checkpoint was blocked by local Serbs.

Tuesday afternoon, after the intervention of NATO international forces under the command of the Kosovo Force, KFOR, the situation seemed to have calmed down. But later it became apparent that it had not.

According to Serbian media on Tuesday the border crossing at Yasmin was closed. After reports of the clash near Zubin Potok, Kosovo Serbs also blocked the road leading to the border crossing at Brnyak.

The Voice of Russia talked to the head of the administration of Zubin Potok, Slavish Ristic, in Serbian and he had the following to say: "Zubin Potok still remains tense. People fear for their safety. The reasons for concern are the actions that members of the special forces of the Kosovo Police have taken."

This morning the special division of the Kosovo police and members of the Rosa (Dew) Special Forces Unit seized the border checkpoint in the village of Brnyak. After lengthy negotiations which started at 13:00 hours between representatives of Belgrade, Pristina and KFOR, and representatives of "Rosa", the border crossing was handed back to KFOR forces.

A half hour later, however, a different group of "Rosa" Forces again attempted to penetrate into Zubin Potok. Members of the Special Forces Unit opened fire on unarmed civilians who attempted to block the road. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

Currently the reports coming out of Kosovo are conflicting in nature. At approximately 16:00 Belgrade time (18.00 GMT) gunfire was heard near the village of Varaga. At least one Kosovo policeman was injured.

The chief doctor of the Kosovo-Mitrovitsa hospital, Milena Cvetkovic told the Tanjug News Agency that there had been no admissions to the hospital during the morning. However, the Minister for Kosovo-Metohija affairs, Goran Bogdanovic, confirmed that clashes had in fact taken place and that there were Serbs among the victims.

The head of Kosovska-Mitrovitsya Region, Radenko Nedelkovic, reported that on Tuesday night negotiations between the northern Kosovo Serbian authorities and the representatives of NATO forces (KFOR) had taken place.

The Serbs insist that the Albanian leadership withdraw its police commandos and special forces from the border areas. At the same time there are reports coming in that the Albanian special forces have already left the checkpoint they captured and moved in the direction of Kosovo-Mitrovitsya, and are now in the village of Zhupche.

According to other reports Minister Goran Bogdanovic and the Political Director for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Serbia, Borislav Stefanovic, had negotiated with the commander of KFOR Erhard Bühler.

Observers say that the recent relations between Belgrade and Pristina have seriously deteriorated. Last week, the Kosovo government imposed a ban on the import of goods from Serbia, citing the decision by Serbian authorities not to recognize Kosovo's customs seal and thereby prevent the importation of goods from Kosovo into Serbia. The dispute between Belgrade and Pristina had led to the disruption of another round of talks which were to have taken place on practical issues.

Serbia: Oslo killer's support of 'anti-Islamic Serbs' prompts bitter Serbian reaction

last update: July 25, 14:55

Belgrade, 25 July (AKI) - Norwegian, Anders Behring Breivik, who admitted carrying out a pair of attacks on an Oslo government building and killing 93 people in a shooting spree in a youth camp on an island, has no sympathizers among Serbs, press reports showed on Monday.

Close Your Criminal Record Faster With Express Pardons-Sign Up Here!

Most newspapers described Breivik as a "madman", psychopath", "monster" and similar views prevailed on Serbian newspapers' web side forums.

Before embarking on his murderous crusade, Breivik, 32, posted on a web site a 1,500-page document written in English, under the pseudonym of Andrew Berwick, in which he said he was motivated by NATO bombing of Serbia 1999.

"That was all we needed," said daily Press in a front page banner. "Norwegian monster 'revenges' Serbs and Christians," the paper said ironically. Other newspapers reacted in a similar manner.

In a document posted on web site Breivik said he was a crusader against "Islamization of western Europe" and criticized European leaders for bombing Serbia and Serbs in Bosnia who allegedly fought against Islam.

"Bosnia was Serbia and only Serbian," Breivik said. "There had been no Muslims for 500 years until Turkey occupied the Balkans," he added. Breivik described himself as a fan of wartime Bosnian Serb leader Radovan Karadzic who is currently standing trial for genocide before the Hague-based United Nations war crimes tribunal.

Breivik said the bombing of Serbia in 1999, which ultimately led to independence of its southern Kosovo province, declared by majority Albanians, was "unforgivable" mistake and "another step in Islamization of Europe".

He described Albanians as "known criminals and drug dealers", saying Serbia had the right to expel them after 1998 rebellion.

But most commentators on Sebian web sites, though bitter over NATO bombing, said the last thing Serbs needed was to be defended by individuals like Breivik. "May God save us from such friends and peacemakers," one commentator said.

"We will be lucky if they don't bomb us again because of his statement," said another commentator. "And if his grandfather, God forbid, turned out to be a Serb, we would really be in trouble," he added.

Religious war in the Balkans was orchestrated by USA and NATO

Religious war in the Balkans was orchestrated by USA and NATO

20.07.2011

On July 18, the USA and NATO were accused of the massacre in the Balkans. Such accusations wouldn't be surprising, if they came from the Serbs, for instance. This time, it goes about Croatia and Britain. To be more precise, it goes about the former commander of UN forces in Bosnia and Herzegovina, British General Michael Rose, and Vice President of the Republic of Srpska (RS, a part of Bosnia and Herzegovina), Emil Vlajki. The latter represents the Croats in the RS.

Mr. Rose directly accused the USA and NATO of the Srebrenica massacre. According to him, the massacre took place because UN's peacemaking efforts were systematically disrupted during the conflict in Bosnia in 1992-1995.

The statement became Michael Rose's response to another portion of criticism regarding the inaction of UN troops during the Bosnian war. According to the general, after the deployment of UN troops in BiH, which mostly played the humanitarian role, NATO with the United States at the head were systematically undermining UN's peacemaking efforts, violating the embargo on arms shipments in Yugoslavia. NATO and the USA were simultaneously arming and training the Bosnian Muslims, the general said. According to Rose, it gave the Muslims certainty of their ability to defeat the Serbs with the power of weapons. It also shattered confidence in the UN mission in the eyes of the parties of the conflict. The UN was thus unable to succeed in its peacemaking initiatives. NATO's and USA's air raids were unable to show influence on the events that were taking place on the ground. It virtually resulted in the collapse of the UN mission in 1995, which made General Ratko Mladic attack Srebrenica, Michael Rose said.

According to the British general, if NATO forces had been deployed in BiH in 1992, as BiH's President Alija Izetbegovic wanted in order to put an end to the conflict in Croatia, neither the war, nor the massacre would have happened. UN peacemakers in Bosnia could not do anything against it because they had no mandate for it, nor were they equipped and trained properly for combat operations. That role belonged to NATO, but the alliance only confined itself to bombardments, the British general concluded.

As for the notorious statement from Emil Vlajki, he demanded the USA should bring its apologies for the Balkan events. Vlajki said that he wanted the States to apologize for convincing the leader of Bosnian Muslims Alija Izetbegovic to refuse from observing the terms of the Lisbon Treaty from 1992, which guaranteed peace in Bosnia.

According to Vlajki, the USA initiated the bloody war, which took the Serbs back to the pre-civil society of mutual hatred and feudalism. He also criticized the Americans for breaking the UN embargo for the delivery of arms in BiH during the war. Foreign Mujahideeds were thus given an opportunity to enter Bosnia, the official said. Vlajki also accused the Americans of turning BiH into a time bomb.

"Why did you deceive the Croats and made them unite with the Muslims into the Croatian-Muslim federation of BiH, which marked the beginning of the end of the Croatian nation in this part of Bosnia and Herzegovina? They were interfering with our elections all the time after the Dayton Accord, because they were previously supporting the illegal, illegitimate and anti-Croatian government of platformists in the BiH Federation, established on the base of illegal decree from High Representative in Bosnia-Herzegovina (BiH) Valentin Inzko," he said.

To put it in a nutshell, Emil Vlajki warns of another conflict that may erupt in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It may happen because of the efforts of the United States again, he added. According to him, America was pursuing its own interest in this case. "To realize the idea of their prominent political scientist Samuel Huntington, they turned BiH into the key territory on which two civilizations - Islam and Christianity - would clash. The final goal of the States, Vlajki believes, was to slow down the unification of Europe.

Leonid Ivashov, the President of the Academy of Geopolitical Problems, commented on the notorious statements from the British general and the Croatian politician.

"I'd like to remind here of the international conference, which took place in 2009. The conference was devoted to the tenth anniversary of NATO's war against Yugoslavia. There were two reports made during the meeting, which said that the destruction of that country was planned in the West long before the events in 1991-1999. A report from French General Pierre Gallois was especially interesting at this point. He told of the secret meeting at the French General Staff in 1985, during which NATO's leading countries were elaborating the plans to destroy Yugoslavia.

"The report from Michel Chossudovsky of Canada was a very interesting one too. He particularly said that the World Bank was also planning the destruction of Yugoslavia. The existence of this socialist state and its system, which differed from the systems of other Western states, was threatening Europe and the West in general. Yugoslavia did not fit in the picture of the world, which Washington and Brussels would like to build.

"As for the Srebrenica events, one shouldn't forget that it was the Americans, as well as the Vatican to a certain extent, that fostered hatred between the Serbs and the Bosnians. It was them, who pushed the Islamic clergy of Bosnia towards publishing the fatwah about the struggle against the infidels. The goal was different here - they wanted Islam and Christianity to clash.

"As for technical issues, the job was done by mercenaries from Western countries, from the USA, first and foremost. It goes about private military campaigns, in which soldiers would guise themselves as warriors of hostile sides. They would commit numerous crimes trying to provoke massacre.

"Unfortunately, one has to acknowledge today that the West achieved its goal. Yugoslavia was destroyed, but the Americans are trying to destroy even the proud Serbian spirit to completely bury their aspiration for independent politics. That was the time when the West tested a completely new kind of war, the continuation of which we can now witness in Libya and Syria," Ivashov said.

Don't trust them Muammar

Don't trust them Muammar

Rumours are flying around about NATO offering an under-the-table deal to Colonel Gaddafy to step down and receive a declaration of immunity in return. This brings two notions into play: first, NATO's word has as much credibility as a spiv in a shell-suit and secondly, have those behind this ill-conceived crusade finally seen the folly of their actions?

When you receive an offer from NATO, there are two things you should do: remember the guy in a scruffy raincoat who hangs out behind the local train station hissing at passers-by: "Hey man, you wanna buy a second-hand Romanian wristwatch?" and secondly, say No!

Why? Because NATO has lied time and time and time and time and time again. NATO lied to Russia, stating it would not move eastwards and encroach into former Warsaw Pact countries and look where it now stands - encircling Russia from the Baltic States to the north, down through Poland to Bulgaria to the west, Turkey to the south and as if that was not enough, is making overtures to Georgia, a thorn in Russia's side as was so admirably demonstrated by Tbilissi's act of slaughter not so long ago (Summer of 2008).

The fate of Georgia, it is true, would be the fate of NATO if it tried anything on, namely a hail of missiles so thick they would blot out the sun before a crater twenty kilometres either side of a military build-up appeared on the other side of Russia's borders. As the Georgian troops and their military "get back inside" (Southern accent) advisers found out, the Spetsnaz are a force to be reckoned with, as are the soldiers from the Chechen divisions, the darlings of the West, as the western mercenaries among the Georgians felt only too well.

The same nations invented barefaced lies to create a casus belli against Iraq, where none existed, lying that Saddam Hussein's government had tried to get yellowcake uranium from Niger, then forging documents to back up the claim, then getting their (pig-)ignorant media to claim Baghdad was trying to obtain it from (wrong country) Nigeria; then there was a doctoral thesis copied and pasted from the Net providing "wonderful intelligence" for Colin Powell to present to the UNO. We had chemicals factories which were providing milk for babies and we had evidence of WMD and pinpointed locations as to where it was, except it did not exist. As Saddam Hussein himself said.

We had the media demonising the Iraqi President and tying him to Al-Qaeda, even though he and bin Laden hated each other. Meanwhile we have had NATO countries complaining about cyber hacking yet doing the same thing themselves time and time again against Iraq, against Iran and now against Libya.

And now we have NATO lying about the casus belli in this north African state, claiming that poor innocent unarmed civilians were being attacked when what really happened everyone knows - thousands of armed terrorists, unleashed by NATO itself, ran amok torching government buildings, raping girls and slaughtering people in the street. They never mentioned the UN Report providing the basis for a humanitarian prize to be awarded to Colonel Gaddafi in March this year, they never mentioned any of his many actions in the African Union, providing services for free whereas beforehand, Africans had to pay fortunes for the same to western providers.

NATO, the same gang which organised the kidnapping of Slobodan Milosevic and his illegal detention in The Hague, its kangaroo court which has not yet tried a single NATO member for war crimes, despite tremendous evidence towards this, now makes overtures to Muammar al-Qathafi to stand down and accept immunity.

Muammar, believe that and you may as well give a million dollars for that second-hand Romanian wristwatch.

The fact of the matter is NATO sees what is happening in western Libya, sees that Gaddafy is genuinely popular there as indeed he is with most tribes across the country and knows that in military terms, their crusade has failed, miserably. They never expected to be spending 50 to 100,000 dollars per aircraft per day, flying 100 sorties a day, in July 2011, they never expected the Libyan Armed Forces to have weathered the storm and gone onto the offensive against the terrorists NATO supports.

Once again, the way forward is for NATO to disengage, claiming the no-fly zone has been imposed and to allow the African Union to broker talks between the sides without making offers, neither did anyone ask for NATO's opinion. Nobody should believe them because given the recent history of this organization, NATO has as much credibility as a heroin addict desperate for a fix.

Kosovo: NATO Pseudo-State Moves To Complete Ethnic Cleansing

K. Albanians "trying to finalize ethnic cleansing"

BELGRADE: The Kosovo Ministry will urgently inform the EU mission in Kosovo, EULEX, about the cases of "Albanization and assimilation of Serbs", says Goran Bogdanović.

The minister for Kosovo stated on Thursday that this will come along with a request for the practice "to end immediately".

"The representatives of the international community in Kosovo cannot ignore what is happening to Serbs, and not only to Serbs but also to other peoples and ethnic groups," Bogdanović.

His comments refer to frequent changes of the personal data in Kosovo IDs issued for Serbs, which they required so as to realize their right to pension allowance.

"It is unacceptable for the names of Serbs to be Albanized in the documents issued by Priština, and that their Serb nationality be changed into 'Kosovar'," Bogdanović stated for the Belgrade-based daily Politika.

He added that this was yet another indicator that the Kosovo Albanian authorities were using all methods to gradually assimilate those Serbs in Kosovo that they had not managed to drive out of their homes - "and thus bring ethnic cleansing to an end".

Bogdanović said that recent attempts to re-designate Serb monasteries and cultural heritage as "Kosovo's heritage" was an obvious example of how Priština was trying to "Albanize" Serbian history and culture, falsify facts and presents someone else's cultural identity as their own.

"Such moves demonstrate how much Priština cares about a multi-ethnic society, but also bring harm to the dialogue (between Belgrade and Priština) and the agreement that has been reached," Bogdanović stressed.

NATO is an outlaw, the ICC is its accomplice

NATO is an outlaw, the ICC is its accomplice

29.06.2011 | 19:38

The International Criminal Court at The Hague is a pariah in the world of Justice and International Law; those who work for it are traitors to their cause, the Institution itself is an insult to every fibre of civilisation and a knife in the back of the notion that the law prevails and is applied without bias.

It is patently clear nowadays that the ICC is a tool in the hands of NATO - a cynical tool which bases itself on the pseudo-precept that it follows the law, a manipulative organism which twists legal principles and applies them with two weights and measures. What is amazing, is that those behind the ICC and NATO think that the public will believe them.

NATO has committed war crimes in Kosovo, in Afghanistan and in Iraq. NATO has committed terrorist attacks occasioning murder in all three theatres of war. Nothing happened, the ICC remained silent. Arrest warrants have been served for David Cameron and Barack Obama in police stations near their places of work and residence for the murder of Colonel Gaddafi's three grandchildren and other civilians in Libya. Monitoring the situation, we see that nothing has yet happened.

 NATO's violation of the law

NATO's remit in Libya were UNSC Resolutions 1970 and 1973 (2011) which, summarised, concentrated on no boots on the ground in Libya among NATO forces and this is not the case - violation 1; the enforcement of a no-fly zone, which does not include strafing civilian structures  - violation 2; measures to protect civilians from being attacked does not mean attacking government forces fighting hundreds of heavily armed terrorists - violation 3.

Under the UN Charter it is illegal to take sides in an internal conflict - violation 4; it is illegal to murder or attempt to murder government officials - violation 5; with no formal declaration of war, with no remit from the Military Committee of the UNSC, any action occasioning murder is illegal - violation 6; ditto attempted murder - violation 7; ditto actions occasioning grievous bodily hard - violation 8; ditto actual bodily harm - violation 9; ditto criminal damage - violation 10.

Under the Geneva Conventions it is illegal to attack civilian structures with military hardware - violation 11; it is also illegal to deploy in theatres of conflict munitions and weaponry which will have an affect after such conflict. The alleged use of cluster bombs by NATO and of Depleted Uranium (there are several precedents) could provide violation 12.

At least eleven, possibly 12, violations of international law in Libya, countless others in other operations, and the ICC says nothing. The judges of the ICC receive their instructions and insult their academic area, the fundamental principles of law and their professional class with barefaced arrogance. I challenge Mr. Luis Moreno Ocampo to investigate the above charges and to pronounce himself.

The joke which is the ICC

Two international lawyers have exposed the joke which the ICC is. Within just a few hours, lawyers Themba Langa (South Africa - Counsel to Muammar al-Qathafi, Saif al-Islam al-Qathafi and Abdullah al-Senussi) and Fabio Maria Galiani (Italy - Legal advisor and member of the defence team) uncovered no less than eight points of law proving that the ICC is a kangaroo court without one iota of legal validity, yet again proved in this case. Their points are summarised as follows, my observations in brackets.

They point out that for a start the Court has no jurisdiction in Libya because it was never ratified there, that anyway notwithstanding this, under international customary law a Head of State has immunity (did they take Saddam Hussein to The Hague?. Indeed the ICC has no jurisdiction in the USA, so why should it have any in Libya?)

Secondly they point out that the referral to the ICC by the UN Security Council is a violation of jurisdiction, independence and impartiality because it instructs the Court to exclude prosecution for certain persons and in following this directive, the ICC itself is in violation of its own constituent Statutes; thirdly the UNSC does not have the power to dictate terms over Libya to the ICC and anyway under international customary law, the ruling yesterday by the ICC is invalid in countries not signatories to the Rome Treaty which set up the Court.

Fourthly, if in the following instances, the Prosecutor has still not decided whether to open a case on Georgia (because the evidence is being considered) since 2008 (three years); on Guinea since 2009 (two years), on Colombia since 2006 (five years) why then was all the evidence on Libya read, digested and treated legally within just three days when the investigation was opened? (Where is the case against Abdel-Hakim al-Hasidi? Where are the cases against the Islamist terrorists who massacred Black Libyans and children? Where is the case against NATO, against Obama, against Cameron, against Sarkozy, against Berlusconi?)

Fifthly the ICC did not even notice that the referral by the UNSC violated the Court's Statute; sixthly, if NATO respects the Court and its deliberation, (why is it continuing to perpetrate 100 terrorist attacks a day protecting terrorists?) then the defendants should have the right to defence themselves. Seventh, NATO is accountable for murder, destruction of property and injury to civilians (acts of terrorism) and eighth, the entire campaign has been based on manipulation through the media (rendering the legal tenets void under any normal court of law. But then again, the ICC is no court of law, is it?)

Next, on the impartiality of this "Court", the lawyers mentioned above claim in their statement:

"One of the judges of the Pre-Trial Chamber I, Mr. Cuno Tarfusser, recently made statements to the Italian media on the situation in Libya which indicated that the ICC is not impartial".

One last question, why do the USA, UK and France prohibit the delivery of baby food to Libyan children? Isn't it enough for Obama, Cameron and Sarkozy to murder them by bombing? If them enjoy murdering children, why don't they start at home? When they look at their children, do they hear the screams of Colonel Gaddafi's grandchildren as they fried in their own blood?

So, Mr. Luis Moreno Ocampo, what, as a judge and a lawyer, do you have to say to THAT? Nothing, of course, because we know who and what you are.

Libya: Unending American hostility

Libya: Unending American hostility

If I could publicly ask our beloved president one question, it would be this: "Mr. President, in your short time in office you've waged war against six countries — Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Somalia, Yemen and Libya. This makes me wonder something. With all due respect: What is wrong with you?"

The American media has done its best to dismiss or ignore Libyan charges that NATO/US missiles have been killing civilians (the people they're supposedly protecting), at least up until the recent bombing "error" that was too blatant to be covered up. But who in the mainstream media has questioned the NATO/US charges that Libya was targeting and "massacring" Libyan civilians a few months ago, which, we've been told, is the reason for the Western powers attacks? Don't look to Al Jazeera for such questioning. The government of Qatar, which owns the station, has a deep-seated animosity toward Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi and was itself a leading purveyor of the Libyan "massacre" stories, as well as playing a military role in the war against Tripoli. Al Jazeera's reporting on the subject has been so disgraceful I've stopped looking at the station.

Alain Juppé, Foreign Minister of France, which has been the leading force behind the attacks on Libya, spoke at the Brookings Institution in Washington on June 7. After his talk he was asked a question from the audience by local activist Ken Meyercord:

"An American observer of events in Libya has commented: 'The evidence was not persuasive that a large-scale massacre or genocide was either likely or imminent.' That comment was made by Richard Haass, President of our Council on Foreign Relations. If Mr. Haass is right, and he's a fairly knowledgeable fellow, then what NATO has done in Libya is attack a country that wasn't threatening anyone; in other words, aggression. Are you at all concerned that as NATO deals more and more death and destruction on the people of Libya that the International Criminal Court may decide that you and your friends in the Naked Aggression Treaty Organization should be prosecuted rather than Mr. Gaddafi?"

Monsieur Juppé then stated, without attribution, somebody's estimate that 15,000 Libyan civilians had been killed by pro-Gaddafi forces. To which Mr. Meyercord replied: "So where are the 15,000 bodies?" M. Juppé failed to respond to this, although in the tumult caused bt the first question, it was not certain that he had heard the second one. (For a counter-view of the Libyan "massacre" stories, see this video.)

It should be noted that, as of June 30, NATO had flown 13,184 air missions (sorties) over Libya, 4,963 of which are described as strike sorties. You can find the latest figures on the Allied Command Operations website.

If any foreign power fired missiles at the United States would Barack Obama regard that as an act of war? If the US firing hundreds of missiles at Libya is not an act of war, as Obama insists (to avoid having to declare war as required by US law), then the deaths resulting from the missile attacks are murder. That's it. It's either war or murder. To the extent there's a difference between the two.

It should be further noted that since Gaddafi came to power in 1969 there has virtually never been a sustained period when the United States has been prepared to treat him and the many positive changes he's instituted in Libya and Africa with any respect. For a history of this hostility, including the continual lies and scare campaigns, see my Libya chapter in Killing Hope.
